Besides the rush in Detroit, newspapers across the nation were selling out yesterday. The New York Times had people waiting in line for papers and printed 50,000 extra copies. Both local daily newspapers here, The Detroit News and The Detroit Free Press, have sold out and are ordering more copies for retail sale by Thursday. Memento seekers wanting a piece of history, I suppose. I hope both newspapers have far better foresight when the Lions win the Superbowl!
