It gives us an excuse to sift through all the nonsensical and wacky videos on the Internet to find one worthy of donning the treasured Video of the Week title.
Happy Friday! It's dreary and slushy in Detroit, so we need a fun video for an afternoon pick-me-up.

This is an oldie, but a goodie. Little Kaylee has to blow out her birthday candle to make a wish, but she's having a tough time. She certainly is determined, though! Maybe a little too determined, because I feared she would pass out before the video ended! Take a look, and enjoy a chuckle. Kids make for such good YouTube content, don't they???

If you've checked out any of our videos of the week over the past year, it's pretty obvious that when it comes to videos of animals, we are partial to ridiculously funny cat videos. Let's be honest - how can you NOT love the many cat videos on YouTube? Cats do the craziest things.

I have to say that out of all the cat videos we've featured as our Video of the Week this year, "no, no, no cat" is my absolute favorite. I was laughing so hard that I was crying when I first watched this video (and it was right before I went into a meeting at work and then had to explain that why my eyes were all red and watery).

Let me start off with this disclaimer: I am not a Star Wars fan. I haven't seen any of the movies, and I'm totally fine with that. So obviously, I am not the one who found this amusing video. Please thank sci-fi nerd Brandon Chesnutt for this discovery.

You definitely don't have to be a Star Wars enthusiast to get a good laugh from this video. A dad recorded his son and daughter watching The Empire Strikes Back for the first time and reacting to Luke Skywalker finding out that Darth Vader is his father. The looks on the four-year-old son's face are priceless during the revelation. He switches from astonishment, to confusion, to anger and finally to a blank stare of disbelief. He'll fondly (or embarrassingly) look back on this when he's older and thank his good old dad for capturing the moment on camera.

Happy Friday! We're capping off the week with a video that is making its rounds on the Internet - Anderson Cooper's giggle fest.

As part of his RidicuList, Anderson shares news that French actor Gerard Depardieu is accused of urinating on a plane. After several back-to-back puns with intermittent chuckles, Anderson can no longer keep it together after saying the plane's cleaning crew should be thankful it wasn't "Depar-two" (as in going #2 - get it, get it?). All hope of nicely wrapping up this rant-filled segment is totally lost at this point.

Ok, maybe Vogue wouldn't be my dance song of choice today, but it definitely was in the summer of 1991 when nine-year-old Robert Jeffrey decided to record himself busting a move to Vogue.

It's been awhile since we've shared a video of the week, so as you're prepping for a fun (and hopefully sunny) Memorial Day weekend, we bring you this gem of a video - Pink Fluffy Unicorns Dancing on Rainbows.

This video makes us laugh for several reasons. The guy's open-mouthed smile throughout most of the video is an interesting combo of random and hilarious (plus he reminds us of our friend, Henry Balanon, who loves to do a similar open-mouthed smile in all his photos). And, try saying "pink fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbows" out loud without smirking.
