how we generate publicity Meadowbrook Insurance Group Launches Article Series with National Underwriter Across Multiple Media Formats11.01.11 In September of 2011, Meadowbrook Insurance Group, Inc. (Meadowbrook) launched a series of articles in the insurance industry trade publication, National Underwriter. Besides being a five-part article series that positioned the Meadowbrook authors as experts in the program submission process, the content was also distributed to National Underwriter’s audience through a variety of different formats. Content that is shared across multiple formats reaches even more people, thus resulting in greater impressions of the material. The first four articles were originally distributed electronically to National Underwriter’s electronic newsletter database in its monthly Specialty Lines e-newsletter. At the same time the e-blast was distributed, each article also went live on National Underwriter’s web site, www.propertycasualty360.com. Additionally, the first two articles in the series appeared combined as a feature in the October 10, 2011 issue of National Underwriter’s print publication. The timing for the feature was ideal, as that issue was distributed to attendees at two key industry events that month. The series will conclude over the next two months, with the final three articles appearing in the e-blast, on the website and in the print version.
