how we generate publicity NRI and Arena District Featured in Forbes04.01.07 It seems like yesterday (actually 2001) that Nationwide Realty Investors (NRI) retained Identity to help generate national awareness for its $650 million Arena District in Downtown Columbus. Six years later we have realized great successes including multiple articles in every national real estate trade publication, the New York Times and now Forbes. Forbes' Mark Tatge captured the essence of the community value creation and the energy of The Arena District in his recent article, Urban Renewal Redux, which appeared in the April, 2007 issue. Mark pointed out that "ten years ago the arena site was a deplorable collection of parking lots, dilapidated warehouses and a 150-year old abandoned limestone prison." He not only applauded NRI's execution and successes in the Arena District, he also gave examples of other NRI urban redevelopment success stories. NRI is the real estate development affiliate of Nationwide, a Fortune 500 company and one of the country's largest insurance and financial services organizations. NRI is active throughout the United States with a diverse portfolio of office, retail, hotels, luxury apartments, properties and development land. Directly and through joint ventures, NRI owns more than $1.2 billion in real estate investments. |
