Monica Ireland Joins Identity
BINGHAM FARMS, Mich., May 23, 2008—Monica Ireland has joined Bingham Farms-based Identity Marketing and Public Relations as Director of Marketing. Firm partners Paul Kesman, Mark Winter, and Tom Nixon made the announcement.
Ireland is responsible for managing the marketing strategy process for Identity’s real estate development client Steiner + Associates, and she is located on-site at their offices in Columbus, Ohio.
Ireland comes to Identity with a unique background in real estate development. Her previous professional experience includes many years at Walt Disney Imagineering in Orlando, FL as a development manager leading large-scale complex real estate project teams of diverse cultures. Her time at Disney included a 2½ year ex-patriot assignment in Italy during the design and construction of Disney’s first two cruise ships, the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder. She also worked on Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge resort project enabling her to travel to Africa and Indonesia regarding various aspects of quality control. Ireland’s previous experience includes strong communication skills within large projects including internal team members, corporate management, and external consultants.
Ireland holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Notre Dame as well as a Masters in Business Administration from Georgetown University. With parents from Mexico, Ireland is fluent in Spanish and can carry a conversation in Italian.
